GET INVOLVED

MATERIALS: WOOD

Seeking Volunteers & Donations

In order to offer our papa ku'i 'ai workshops, we seek out large sections of local Maui wood to mill and prepare into blanks. We also hope to be supporting the need for kapa implements on Maui soon, as we understand it is a growing need.

LOILOA is always on the lookout for trees such as mango, monkeypod, 'ulu, 'ōhi'a, iron wood, milo, etc. If you are cutting a tree and would like to donate the trunk or large limbs, please get in touch.

If you would like to offer physical support for milling or other wood preparation labor, we greatly appreciate your help. Please submit your information to the form link below.
